US-Brazil Standards Dialogue
Background
ITA, NIST and INMETRO have agreed to establish a Digital Video Conference (DVC) series to promote a better understanding of the standards, conformity assessment and technical regulation systems in place in each country, in collaboration with other government agencies, ABNT (Brazil) and ANSI (U.S.), and other private sector organizations.

Past and Future DVC Sessions
Three DVC sessions have been held. The most recent DVC, held on July 20, 2007, focused on Biofuel standards. The August 22, 2006 session covered the topic of technical regulations. The December 7, 2006 session was focused on standardization. The March 20, 2007 session focused on conformity assessment. Materials from each session are included in the links below.
