Summary
World Trade Center San Diego (WTCSD) will: 1. Identify water technology companies in the USA with the most potential for export and those that are export ready, with the 50 WTCs in the USA; 2. Identify the best export prospects and potential foreign buyers in the selected target markets; 3. Inform and guide companies on the market opportunities with counseling, workshops, and webinars by visiting ITA experts; 4. Organize groups or consortia of companies to bid for large government contracts, which are often design, build, operate and transfer, and include engineering, construction, equipment supply, operations management, finance and possibly local partners; 5. Prepare and assist our companies to participate in trade shows such as Aquatech overseas and AWWA in the USA; 6. Invite and organize inbound delegations of buyers to the USA for product demonstrations and shows; Invite potential buyers to attend webinars; 7. Take the most promising companies on trade missions to participate in trade shows and match-making meetings in target markets; 8. Assist those companies with market research, professional referrals and match-making; 9. Generate $27 million in export sales that create jobs in the USA, and report those successes to encourage others to export, setting the trajectory to increase US market share.
