Summary
UHC will promote U.S. Health Care Services by: 1. Creating a forum for international patient programs;
2. Creating specifications for data elements to be collected and
reported on international patients;
3. Developing and validating a methodology to value medical care
exports to U.S. academic medical centers;
4. Planning and holding a series of meetings focused on strategies to
increase the global competitiveness of U.S. academic medical
centers;
5. Developing strategic relationships with Ministries of Health and
private payers abroad.
