Summary
The National Chamber Foundation (NCF)will promote green technology through a project called "Export Green". Export Green will facilitate increased exports of green technology to Brazil.The project will have five components:1. Fact-Finding. NCF will conduct a national survey of the business community to identify potential exporters, select subsectors, and develop a database of green technology SMEs; 2. Communications. NCF will launch a media relations campaign, project website, and monthly newsletter; create educational webinars; and conduct grasstops and grassroots outreach; 3. Education. NCF will implement a nationwide series of U.S-Brazil Business Forums. IV. Facilitation. NCF will lead two U.S. trade missions to Brazil and two Brazil buying missions to the U.S., and will arrange Brazilian government procurement forums at U.S. trade shows; 4. Capacity-Building. To ensure sustainability, NCF will establish an office in Brazil, introduce a series of intellectual property and standards workshops in Brazil, create a Green Technology Task Force, and seek a Memorandum of Understanding with ITA.
