The Annual Survey of Manufacturers, Motor Vehicle Industries table available below either as an Adobe "pdf" document or as a self extracting Excel spreadsheet, is
extracted from the Annual Survey of Manufacturers conducted by the U.S. Census
Bureau for all firms operating factories in the United States, including those that
are affilliated with foreign manufacturers. The data is based on the new North
American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes, which replaced
the Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) codes in 1997. Click here for an explanation of the old and new product
