NAME: National Export Strategy (NES)
 
REQUESTOR: Export Enhancement Act of 1992
DUE DATE: Annually on March 30
ADDRESSEES: Senate Banking Committee and House Committee on International Relations

STATUS:  The 2007 National Export Strategy was transmitted to Congress in June.  Secretary Gutierrez presented the NES at the Washington International Trade Association's annual dinner July 17th.

NAME: Subsidies Enforcement Report
 
REQUESTOR: Congress
DUE DATE: Annually on February 1
ADDRESSEES: All members of Congress

STATUS:  The draft 2007 report is currently being reviewed by the Assistant Secretary for Import Administration.  It will then be circulated for Department of Commerce clearance.  USTR will handle Trade Policy Steering Committee (TPSC)  interagency clearance.  The report was delivered to Congress on February 1.

NAME: Annual Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) Board Report

DUE DATE: Annually December 31

STATUS:   The FTZ Board's Report to Congress for FY 06 is on target to meet it's annual deadline.  FTZ Staff is currently receiving FY 06 information for this report from individual foreign-trade zones across the country.

NAME: Performance and Accountability Report
 
REQUESTOR: Government Performance and Results Act
DUE DATE: No later than March 31st of each year 
ADDRESSEES: The President and the Congress

STATUS:  The Department published the FY 2006 Performance and Accountability Report to the Department's web site on November 15th.  The annual Performance and Accountability Report describes the results and performance achieved by DOC Bureaus during the previous Fiscal Year (FY 2006) and provides detailed information about key areas of program performance.  An electronic copy is available from the DOC web site at http://www.osec.doc.gov/bmi/Budget/06APPR/PAR06.pdf.
