2nd Warning -
Credit Card Email Scam Please
do not respond to any email purporting to be from Citibank asking for
account details. ITA
employees continue to receive e-mail purporting to be from CitiBank,
seeking private information as part of its "anti-fraud" efforts. The email forwards you to an
official-looking web site and asks for credit card numbers, ATM numbers,
passwords, social security numbers, and other personal information. It is very convincing -with the
logo, domain name, etc.
Please do not respond.
If you have questions contact Robin Carpenter at (202)482-4989
(purchase cards) or Judy Wilson (202)482-3265 (travel cards). Administrative Support Services
Now that we are a few weeks into the new ITA organization that became effective on August 9, 2004 you may begin to recognize additional needs for "how to" information on administrative processes and for management support services. On August 6, 2004 a Special Edition of Administrivial Pursuits was issued to answer some of the questions of program units impacted by the reorganization. This information can still be found on the ITA REORGANIZATION HOME PAGE at https://ourplace.ita.doc.gov/ourplace.nsf/Homepage?OpenForm. In addition, there is an Index of Services on the CFO/Director of Administration website that describes services provided by our organization and lists specific staff members that can assist you at http://www.ita.doc.gov/Adminon-line/IndexofServices.htm. And, you may always contact the Office of Organization and Management Support (OOMS) at (202)482-5436, and someone will direct you to a staff person that can be of assistance. For questions or more information, contact Charles Jefferson at (202)482-6078. Citibank
Travel Card
ITA Citibank travel cardholders are reminded that payment of their Citibank travel card bill is due upon receipt. Also, the travel card is to be used for expenses associated with official government travel only. The card is not intended for personal use. If you have questions on the travel card, please call Sharon Russell, ITA Travel Card Coordinator, at (202)482-3267. Travel After
September 30, 2004 Please remember that
all travel scheduled to occur October 1, 2004 or later should be coded to
FY 2005 funds. Travel orders
and vouchers for trips that begin in FY '04 and end in FY '05 must list
appropriation codes for both 2004 and 2005. All trip expenses incurred up
to 11:59 p.m. on September 30, should be charged to FY '04, and all
expenses incurred from 12:00 a.m. October 1 until the traveler
returns to his/her duty station, should be charged to FY '05. If you have questions contact
Judith Wilson at (202)482-3265 or Sharon Russell at (202)482-3267. ITA submitted the FY 2006 OMB Budget to the Department on August 23, 2004. After the Departmental clearance, the Budget will be submitted to OMB. The Budget Office appreciates the feedback and assistance of all those providing input. If you have questions, please contact Amy Duncan at (202)482-5739.
