The Budget Division formulates, presents, justifies, analyzes and
executes the budget of the International Trade Administration (ITA). It
also supports the Chief Financial Officer and the Deputy Under Secretary in
allocating resources to the Assistant Secretaries. The Budget Division
staff develops fiscal plans in concert with program unit managers, and
recommends solutions to financial problems throughout the fiscal year. The
Budget Division also prepares briefing materials for ITA and Department of
Commerce management. This material is used for Congressional hearings and
Office of Management and Budget meetings.
