Preliminary
Determination in the Antidumping Investigation:
Certain Tin Mill Products from Japan
On April
6, 2000, the Department of Commerce (ADOC@) announced the preliminary
determination in the antidumping (AAD@) investigation on Certain
Tin Mill Products from Japan.
PETITIONERS:
The AD
petition was filed on behalf of the U.S. steel industry by the following
domestic producers and unions: Weirton Steel Corporation; the United
Steel Workers of America; and the Independent Steelworkers Union.
PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION:
The merchandise
subject to these investigations are certain tin mill products. The
technical language describing the scope of the investigations will
be included in the preliminary determination notice which will be
published in the Federal Register.
