Final Results in the First Antidumping Duty Review of Non-Frozen Apple
Juice Concentrate from the People's Republic of China
FINDINGS
On November 7, 2002, the Department of Commerce announced the final determination
for the above-referenced investigation. We found dumping margins ranging
from 0 to 51.74 percent for imports entered during the period November
23, 1999, through May 31, 2001.
PETITIONERS
Tree Top, Inc. (WA); Knouse Foods Cooperative, Inc. (PA); Green Valley
Packers (CA); Mason County Fruit Packers Co-op, Inc. (MI); and Coloma
Frozen Foods, Inc. (MI).
PRODUCTS COVERED
Merchandise covered by this review is non-frozen apple juice concentrate
(NFAJC) from the People=s Republic of China (PRC). NFAJC is defined as
all non-frozen concentrated apple juice with a Brix scale of 40 or greater,
whether or not containing added sugar or other sweetening matter, and
whether or not fortified with vitamins or minerals. The technical language
describing the scope of this investigation is included in the final determination
notice which will be published in the Federal Register.
