Preliminary Determination of Sales at Not
Less Than Fair Value:
Pure Magnesium from the Russian Federation
On Tuesday, April 24, 2001, the Department of Commerce announced
its preliminary determination in the above-referenced antidumping
duty (AD) investigation. This investigation was initiated on November
6, 2000. The period of investigation for the Russian Federation
is April 1, 2000, through September 30, 2000.
PETITIONERS
The Magnesium Corporation of America (Magcorp) and the United Steel
Workers of America, Locals 482 and 8319
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The merchandise subject to this investigation is pure magnesium.
The technical language describing the scope of this investigation
will be included in the preliminary determination which will be
published in the Federal Register.
