Final
Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value in the Antidumping
Duty Investigations of Structural Steel Beams from South Korea
Final Determination
On June 26, 2000, the Department of Commerce ("DOC") signed the
final determination in the antidumping ("AD") investigations covering
imports of Structural Steel Beams from South Korea.
PETITIONERS:
The AD petition was filed on behalf of the U.S. industry (Northwestern
Steel and Wire Co., Nucor-Yamato Steel Co., TXI-Chaparral Steel
Co., and the United Steelworkers of America AFL-CIO).
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The merchandise subject to this investigation is structural steel
beams. The technical language describing the scope of this investigation
will be included in the notice of final determination which will
be published in the Federal Register.
CASE CALENDAR:
The following determinations will be made not later than these
statutory deadlines:
ITC Final Determination (estimated):
August 10, 2000
Order (estimated): August 17, 2000
FINAL DUMPING MARGINS:

* Note that the cash deposit/bonding rates differ from the antidumping
margins, due to an adjustment based on the fact that Kangwon has
been found to have received an export subsidy at the rate of 0.09%
in the concurrent CVD investigation.
