Final
Determination in the Antidumping Investigation:
Ammonium Nitrate from Russia
On July
3, 2000, the Department of Commerce announced the final determination
in the antidumping investigation of Ammonium from Russia.
PETITIONERS:
The
AD petition was filed on behalf of the Committee for Fair Ammonium
Nitrate Trade.
PRODUCT
DESCRIPTION:
The
merchandise subject to this investigation is ammonium nitrate. The
technical language describing the scope of the investigations will
be included in the final determination notice which will be published
in the Federal Register.

* U.S.
law allows these dates to be extended. Due to the signing of a suspension
agreement, the final determination was signed June 30, 2000.
If DOC
makes an affirmative final AD determination, the ITC must make a
final injury determination within 45 days. If that determination
is affirmative, DOC will issue a duty order.
