Preliminary
Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value in the Antidumping
Duty Investigation of Foundry Coke from the People's Republic of
China
On February
28, 2001, the Department of Commerce ("DOC") announced the preliminary
determination in the antidumping ("AD") investigation on Foundry
Coke from the People's Republic of China.
PETITIONERS:
The AD petition
was filed by ABC Coke, Citizens Gas & Coke Utility, Erie Coke,
Tonawanda Coke Corporation, and the United Steelworkers of America,
AFL-CIO, on behalf of U.S. foundry coke producers.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
The merchandise
subject to this investigation is foundry coke. The technical language
describing the scope of this investigation will be included in the
preliminary determination notice which will be published in the
Federal Register.

The following
determinations will be made not later than these statutory deadlines:
