Commerce Announces New MyExports.com™ Exporter Referral Program

Looking to promote your products and services globally? Then look to MyExports.com™, a new Department of Commerce website. U.S. companies can now register their business profile free at www.myexports.com to promote their products before a worldwide audience. Foreign buyers use this tool to source U.S. goods and services.

This innovative website also helps U.S. producers find export management, trading, and consulting firms that can develop trade opportunities, solve export problems and facilitate export deals. These export firms offer an array of services, ranging from product design to serving as the producer's entire export department. MyExports.com™ can identify providers of shipping, translation, advertising, and other export-related services too. Accessible on a state-by-state basis, the website assists U.S. producers in locating export service firms in a region of choice.

Companies who register will receive both a free on-line listing and a free listing in the MyExports.com™ Buyers' Guide to U.S. Products and Services--an annual print publication distributed through Commerce's Export Assistance Centers (EACs) nationwide. This publicatiion can be found in U.S. embassies and consulates, and other key outlets.

In addition, U.S. producers wishing to achieve economies-of-scale in exporting or fill large or complex export sales orders by teaming up with like-minded producers, can easily identify prospective export partners by using MyExports.com™. The online process is very user-friendly since the electronic system conducts a full text, subject/word search in just seconds.

MyExports.com™ is the result of a public-private partnership between the U.S. Department of Commerce and Global Publishers LLC of Milwaukee, WI.
