Bill Yeargin
Bill Yeargin is President and CEO of Correct Craft, an 87 year old marine industry holding company with global operations. Correct Craft's subsidiaries include both Nautique Boats and Orlando Watersports Complex. During his six years at Correct Craft, the company has won numerous awards. Bill has led the company through a successful change in ownership while using strategic planning to transform the organization's business model. One respected industry publication described Correct Craft under Bill's leadership as being "on an aggressive improvement path the likes of which the marine industry has never seen."
Bill has also served Correct Craft's owner, Ambassador Enterprises, in the following roles:
- Ambassador's Marine Team leader. Bill directed a group of industry executives who prepared a detailed marine industry investment analysis used to pursue potential investment opportunities.
- Board Chairman of Wagner-Meinert, a commercial refrigeration company based in the Midwest with operations throughout United States
Prior to joining Correct Craft, Bill was a member of the executive team at Rybovich, the world-renowned yacht builder and yacht service company. Prior to joining the Rybovich team, Bill worked for the international accounting firm of Coopers & Lybrand performing both financial audits and for-profit consulting.
Bill has a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University and a Masters of Business Administration Degree from Nova Southeastern University. He is also a Certified Public Accountant.
A passionate lifelong learner, Bill has invested thousands of hours in personal development. Bill has studied international business at both Harvard Business School and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), has completed Lean Six Sigma programs through Villanova University, is Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) certified, DISC certified, and (just for fun) is a Certified Personal Trainer.
Bill's many contributions to the marine industry have resulted in him personally receiving three of the industry's most prestigious awards. Additionally, Bill has served on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards.
Bill has authored two books and written management and leadership columns that have been published over two hundred times. Additionally, Bill has travelled around the world speaking at conferences on leadership, strategic planning, future thinking and numerous other topics. Bill's speeches and columns are noted for being highly motivating and giving leaders practical advice that they can immediately use in their organizations to achieve positive results.
Personally, Bill was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and now resides in Orlando, Florida. He is married to Leigh and they have two wonderful daughters, Erin (22) and Amanda (21.) Bill has travelled to all fifty US States and ninety countries.
