Ms. Wong is the Chief Executive Officer of Mac Arthur Corporation, a mid-sized Michigan headquartered manufacturing company with operations in the U.S., Mexico and Poland.
Mac Arthur Corporation designs and manufactures labels, tags and die-cut components for automotive, electronics, industrial, medical and consumer goods markets servicing customers in more than 20 countries. Operating for more than 40 years, MacArthur Corporation (www.macarthurcorp.com) provides solutions for the most demanding label, tag and die-cut applications. Mac Arthur Corporation is a certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), a certified Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE), and a certified Women Owned Small Business (WOSB).
Ms. Wong’s prior work experience includes positions as a senior manager of operations at global management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, a consultant at the economic and business consultancy Charles River Associates, and an engineer at Raytheon Company. Ms. Barrett’s business experience spans the gamut of strategy, operations, globalization, and organizational performance. She has worked in over 20 countries on complex business issues.
She has an undergraduate degree in engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
Ms. Wong is honored to serve on the Manufacturing Council and will bring manufacturing-related experience that includes directly leading a U.S. manufacturing business, developing operations strategies for multinational corporations, implementing continuous improvement in production environments, and conducting manufacturing feasibility and development projects in the US, UK, South Africa and China.
