David Hastings
David Hastings is President and Chief Executive Officer of Mount Vernon Mills, Inc., headquartered in Mauldin, South Carolina. Mr. Hastings has been with Mount Vernon Mills since 1986 and previously served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer from 1999-2007. Mount Vernon Mills is the second largest privately-owned textile maker in the U.S. and creates a myriad of yarns, fabrics, and chemical and finished goods for the apparel, automotive, home textile, and healthcare industries. Mount Vernon Mills makes everything from upholstery to consumer linens and is one of the largest global producers of denim. Mount Vernon Mills has 2,600 employees and operates 14 production facilities in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Mississippi.
