Dr. Hiroyuki Fujita
Dr. Hiroyuki Fujita is founder, president and CEO of Quality Electrodynamics (QED), in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Fujita attended the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University in Tokyo. Coming to America from Japan in 1988 and after receiving his B.A. in physics and mathematics from Monmouth College in 1992 and his Ph.D. in physics from Case Western Reserve University in 1998, Dr. Fujita chose to continue his professional training in America. After working at GE Medical Systems, he started his own company, QED, in 2006. QED develops and manufacturers highly proprietary state-of-the-art MRI radiofrequency antennas. QED is now one of the world's largest suppliers of these products and ships throughout the globe. In recognition of growing a successful high-tech manufacturing company in the United States of America, President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama invited Dr. Fujita to be an honored guest, and to sit in the First Lady's Box at the 2012 State of the Union Address. Dr. Fujita is an Adjunct Full Professor of Physics and Radiology at Case Western Reserve University, and of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at the University of Queensland.
