Gregory W. Booth
Gregory W. Booth was appointed president and chief executive officer of Zippo Manufacturing Company in February 2001. A graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania, he spent nearly 30 years with Kendall Motor Oil and Sunoco Lubricants in a variety of sales and marketing and management positions prior to joining Zippo.
After nearly three decades in the petroleum industry, in June 1999, Booth accepted the position of president and chief operating officer of W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zippo Manufacturing Company, located in Bradford, PA.
Booth was promoted to his current position of Zippo president and CEO in February 2001. In addition, he is president and chairman of the board of W.R. Case and Sons Cutlery.
In 2005, Booth was voted Businessman of the Year by the Bradford Area Chamber of Commerce, and in 2007 he was honored by his alma mater, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, as one of their Distinguished Alumni.
Booth is active on various boards in Bradford and Northwestern PA, including the President’s Manufacturing Council, Governor Corbett’s Manufacturing Advisory Council, Continental 1, the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, Hamot Medical Center, Beacon Light Behavioral Systems of Bradford, Beacon Light’s Finance Committee, the Bradford Club, the Bradford Area Alliance, CARE For Children, the United Way of the Bradford Area, the Pennhills Club and the Bradford Nursing Pavilion.
He and his wife, Cherie, reside in Bradford, PA, and have four children and eleven grandchildren.
