Hammer Awards Nominations
- are awarded by the National Performance Review to recognize teams who have made significant contributions in support of reinventing government principles: putting customers first, cutting red tape, empowering employee, and getting back to basics:
- Not pre-screened by Assistant Secretaries;
- submitted directly to CDD;
- ITA Awards Committee votes on nominations and forwards its recommendations to the Under Secretary for his concurrence;
- The Under Secretary forwards final nominations to the National Performance Review for further consideration;
- program announced biannually;
- nominations can be submitted anytime;
