(QSI's) Quality Step Increase

recognizes very high quality performance;
is a step increase granted in addition to a regular within-grade increase;
rarely given due to long-term impact of the award;
all QSIs approved by ITA Human Resources Manager;
multiple QSIs approved by the Under Secretary;
documentation must be submitted within 90 day of end of performance cycle;
submit complete performance plan & signed appraisal, & CD 326 with supporting narrative;
processed on a first come first served basis.
