Housewares. Mr. Sands has earned
international recognition being an innovator and leader in the direct TV
marketplace and brings over 2 decades of extensive experience in marketing,
manufacturing and sourcing. With
offices in Los Angeles, Hong Kong, and China, Mr. Sands oversees finance,
operations, distribution and generates over $200 million dollars in annual
sales.
Alchemy
is positioned globally as one of the very few virtual direct television
marketing companies with in-house production, creative, product development,
media purchasing, off-shore sourcing and manufacturing as well as international

In
1982 – 1986, Mr. Sands was Vice-President of Weider Health & Fitness, a
consumer fitness company and owners of the well-known Shape and Fitness
magazine. His responsibility was the Consumer Product Division, Consumer
Retail Division, Operations, Sourcing and Manufacturing.
In
1986 - 1992, Mr. Sands was Senior Vice-President of Bollinger Industries, a
consumer products company (selling to customers at Kmart, Walmart, and Sears)
where he was responsible for developing, sourcing and manufacturing over 300
products in 6 Southeast Asian countries.
In
1993 – 1997, Mr. Sands moved on to become President and Joint Venture Partner
of Guthy Renker Fitness, a well-known leader in the direct response TV
space. Mr. Sands was responsible for
developing, manufacturing and overseeing the consumer brands of the Guthy
Renker fitness business. Under his direction, Guthy Renker Fitness
experienced some of its biggest projects ever with over $500 million in sales
with the Power Rider, Fitness Flyer, Perfect Abs, and Flip Track.
In
1997, Mr. Sands, with his company ICC corporation launched a successful direct
response and retail campaign for a fitness product called the Torso Tiger
generating sales of over $100 million.
In
2000, Mr. Sands established Lohan Media, a direct marketing company developing
long form infomercials with a well established fitness brand called Body by
Jake Fitness. Experiencing immediate success through Lohan's very well
known Body by Jake Bun and Thigh Rocker this program generated over $150
million in sales worldwide.
Today,
Mr. Sands continues to develop success strategies for his company and his
professional team, while offering compelling solutions to the consumers. His leadership, principles and dedication to
his staff have charted Alchemy’s course to success.

his duties as at Alchemy Worldwide, Mr. Sands is involved in philanthropic
